That's freaking good news! I use Uhbik on my sketches and sound-design, I am really excited about it. Quality sound, extremely low CPU consumption, everything well mapped on my Push 2. I don't take a risk to use it on more detailed projects though so that's why I can't wait for the official release to stop replace these plugins from chains. I'm looking only at high-quality uncompromising plugins these days, with great usability and sound. Very often plugins ruin workflow because of lack of meaningful device mapping and must-have usability features, so many of them force you to program it instead of playing. In my experience, Uhbik looks like what I will never regret about purchasing it :)

I take this opportunity to note my experience in drawing a wave in Zebra in Harmonic mode. This mode has very thin pillars, drawing waveform is a tricky process. The same process in synths like Dune or Serum can look hypertrophied but it works very well.

Take your time and good luck! :)

Those editors are the main reason we're working on a major update. We've been doctoring around with these, but a new start is what's really needed.

One more minor thing about Uhbik 2. I think it would be better to make more meaningful and useful names for plugins. U-Phaser instead of Uhbik-P, for example. Actual names are like a rebus and it's hard to find in the global library search.

late to the party, eh, i think this has been discussed 4 times in the last half a year (and the answer was generally "no")

which DAW are you using, does it allow custom naming?

If you use Live or BWS you can save each one as rack preset. Just a thought :)

I have to admit that I have always found the single character naming of Uhbik very confusing, especially for the less used effects like G and T. Of course, it's just my opnion but I would much prefer full names of effects too, even if it's Uhbik Phaser, Uhbik Tremolo .etc

Would love to, but we've tested this with every DAW known to man, and many refused to open existing projects with renamed plug-ins.

Aaah bugger, understand though and I appreciate that you guys care to keep backwards compatibility with a major new version which is imho more important than the naming.

Sure it's more important than the naming. The question is cleared :) Custom racks are not the best solution for me because I'm using Push and custom rack adds another layer. I'll just live with these plugin titles.

Complete opposite for me :D , I rack up all of my plugins including some native devices, so the most useful parameters are always on the 8 macros for easy tweaking on the Push.

Of course, I'm making custom racks with plugins. But in the described case, I use only one U-he plugin (which wonderfully mapped on Push itself) for messing with its settings and knobs using only Push, without pre-mapped and premade racks, using the plugin right from the global search.

Uhbik forces me to create my racks or search exclusively for Uhbik plugins, not something wide-meaning like Phaser or Flanger, etc.

This is the problems of well-fed people, I know :)

The alpha version was released almost exactly 1 year ago.
What has happened since then?

been more stable in my projects than some officially released plugs to be honest

Or rename them yourself
