Distortion and chords usually don't mix well.

oh I am probably late - I've missed the notification of your reply, sorry! - however, the list was taken from this site (it's the official Scaler plugin forum) - https://forum.scalerplugin.com/t/scaler ... n-updates/LoveEnigma18 wrote: Fri Jun 19, 2020 2:00 pm Thanks for posting this. Doubtful as they are the makers. It's probably just rammed servers, give it a few hours or try again tomorrow. This happens with just about every release these days, the servers are f**ked for a while as they haven't got enough capacity.becseigy wrote: Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:01 pm Hi,
Someone could tell me where i could download the scaler 2.2 update? The servers in the pluginboutique are completely unusable, it gives me 5-90 days of download time. (Every other site is OK, it just doesn't download from here.) I managed to download 8 of 772 MB in 3 hours, but it refuses to go any further.
Does anyone know an alternative download path? A mirror?
Thanks for the info, that it will be only available through pluginboutique servers.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:21 pm Doubtful as they are the makers. On the positive side 2.2 adds bass and melody options similar to Captain Chords so should be fun to play with.becseigy wrote: Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:36 pmThanks for the info, that it will be only available through pluginboutique servers.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:21 pm Doubtful as they are the makers. Too bad it's still unusable. Maybe tomorrow...
Saw it here but don't understand itWatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Dec 10, 2020 9:29 pm On the positive side 2.2 adds bass and melody options similar to Captain Chords so should be fun to play with.
I use it almost exclusively for building chord progressions. I pick my key, then my scale and mess around until I come up with some progressions that I like, using the built-in inversion editing to help with the voicing and then use the drag export function to get the MIDI into the DAW, to use with my various patches.supersonicity wrote: Mon Mar 29, 2021 10:29 am How do you use Scaler2? Does it make notes or do I need to add a note generator before?
