I am playing with the Bitwig Studio 3.3.2 demo. I have a real drum set that I want to record.
I would really like to be able to add several audio tracks very quickly. Ideally, I could create nine tracks and set the input for the first and it would increment the input for each subsequent track. A preset template that properly named the tracks would be even better.
I'm not seeing this as I explore and wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything.

You can create and save a template with such a setup and load it at the start.BiggerNoise wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2020 12:25 amI'm not seeing this as I explore and wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything.
Alternatively, you can create such a setup, add a 'dummy' (empty) clip on one of the tracks, group them all and drag the 'meta clip' on the Group track to your library. When you drag that meta-clip to an empty project, it should recall all the settings (naming, routing, colours, etc.).

Very cool. I'll give that a try tonight, thank you.

You can create as many template projects as you want and recall one whenever you need it. Once you get the full version.BiggerNoise wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2020 12:25 am A preset template that properly named the tracks would be even better.

Thanks for answering. Templates solve this problem extremely well.
