For someone who doesn’t know much about techno or Waldorf synths it sounds like it is good for technochk071 wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 4:03 pm Techno?
Waldorf's synths are usually THE Ambient/Spacebient machines. They even marketed them once like that. I remember a picture of a exhibition booth with a slogan like "Dedicated to space music", or something similar. And, as a user, I can totally relate to that.
That doesn't mean you can't use them for anything else, of course. But, I wouldn't really say they lend themselves especially to Techno. Not at all.
But I’m sure you can use it for anything.

Firing it up again to check. I even Googled it and sure enough, in this very thread, it was mentioned there isn't one.
EDIT: Holy sh!t there is one. It's embedded into the Pan knob
Thanks

25 dollars is a real bargain, thanks waltercruz for the heads-up on the coupon!
I have a bunch of synths (the u-he and korg stuff) and this sounds really unique. The Gui could use an update though. I also pretty much like the presets, the sound designers banks offer some fantastic patches!

When I hear Bodzin I think analogue synths like the Mini Moog and Sub Phatty. I dont see where Largo fits. I think older techno used primarily Roland x0x boxes.

I was listening to a lot of melodic techno lately but i have to admit i don't know much about the household names in techno or the gear they are using. But i remember i heard some kind of stabs/chords/textures which i would attribute to ald digital hardware rather than analog monos.v1o wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 7:39 pmWhen I hear Bodzin I think analogue synths like the Mini Moog and Sub Phatty. Maybe Bodzin was indeed a wrong name to pick.

-Downloaded demo.
-Did one patch.
-Bought.
Easy decision. A very rewarding synth to program with good filters. Thanks for posting the deal.
If you want extra volume and have an LFO to spare, you can set an lfo in step mode with only one step (constant) and to modulate the output volume.
Now I'm going to read the manual to see what the operators are about.

What is that kind of sound called (jump to 2:00)? I really don't like that kind of sounds. And many of the demos sounds like that. I call it euro techno-ish, because I'm ignorant. It reminds me of when i was a kid at the school disco standing in the corner dorky and shy. Traumatic shit... haha
