Due to a long standing Bitwig bug it is currently only possible to sequence in launcher clips.melodyz wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 7:15 pm Hi does the fire script record to the clip area with the new clip set to loop?

Clip area. You can currently not sequence the clips in the arranger.

Super cool that you've started supporting the Maschine MK3 in earnest! Thank you! I might finally be able to get this Push 2 off my desk and replace it with the smaller-footprint MK3! I also like the touch ribbon on the MK3 better too.

It is already possible for both extensions but you need to toggle to the effect track bank, see the manual.rhawtin wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 5:18 pm Wondering if either the OSC or Mackie scripts will be updated to also include access/control of the actual Effect Tracks and their devices etc?
Thanks.

Hello, Akia Fire question
Bitwig 3.2.2 / Driven by Moss 10
Maybe i'm overlooking something here but I press the Drum button to activate, DRUM LED is lit orange (Drum 4 mode).
Use the 16 buttons on each row to programme the drum maschine (notes C1 C#1 D1 D#1)
Select Knob: should move the note range up/down .. nothing happens. I'm stuck on the first 4 notes (C1 C#1 D1 D#1)
Rotate select knob: No response
Press select knob: No response
Press / rotate select knob: no response

Hi. Currently on DrivenByMoss 10.0, Bitwig 3.2.2 and using Launchpad Pro. Great work on 10.0. This fixed a problem that with Session-Shift not landing in multiples of 8 and that was major for me and the longer-press on Session to enter that mode now is really slick!
However, I have a new question: Does 10.0 no longer allow the Left Arrow and Right Arrow HW buttons on the LPP to move the grid by exactly 1 column at a time? Unless memory is playing tricks on me, this is what I was doing just days ago with the earlier version of DrivenByMoss that I was previously on.
If I can't put (and move) the displayed 8x8 grid on the LPP across the Bitwig clip space to exactly where I want it with x1 granularity then all the work I've previously put into laying out clips in project becomes useless and has to be redone. (Please, no!!)
I hope I'm just overlooking a setting or something, or even that there is a bug that needs fixing.
Is my question clear enough? If necessary I can make a video ...
Follow up: (All in Session Mode) The Up/Down HW Arrow buttons do move the 8x8 display grid one-slot-at-a-time, as expected. The Left/Right HW Arrow buttons act differently. They select tracks instead of moving the grid, and then Bitwig itself seems to have some algo as to when the grid will jump. Being able to move the grid left/right one column at a time is as important as being able to do it up/down one row at a time!

Make sure you have a Bitwig drum device on the track, the track is selected and you have a MIDI clip on the track which also needs to be selected.dot.solenoid wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 7:35 pm Hello, Akia Fire question

Thanks its clear. Could be a side-effect of the Maschine changes. need to test.sj1 wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 9:24 pm However, I have a new question: Does 10.0 no longer allow the Left Arrow and Right Arrow HW buttons on the LPP to move the grid by exactly 1 column at a time? Can you double check the way you setup bws to get to this?moss wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2020 7:24 am Make sure you have a Bitwig drum device on the track, the track is selected and you have a MIDI clip on the track which also needs to be selected.
I think there must be an issue that prevents Select knob as well as left buttons/green leds to work.
At least until you somehow "force" the selection, here are the extra steps I found for getting it to work:
- press Perform twice
- select another track (first row)
- select your drum track again
- press Drum
You're back in sequencer mode, now the Select knob, leds and Solo buttons on the left should work

Hi does the akai fire script loop function apply to midi clips in the clip launcher area? By default bitwig does not like looping midi clips.
