Nice!nathanj wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 8:54 pm Wow, just got bx_Oberhausen using the user survey code from a while ago. $14.99. Decent
Are there any other codes like that available?

GAS, or more precisely, SAS is still strong with me. I'm just getting into this stuff and have mostly stuck to the synths that came bundled with my host and a bunch of freebie downloads. But over the past few months I've actually shelled out some coin for some inexpensive toys...Voltage Modular Core, Sonivox Film Score Companion, and now Largo and Babylon. I've got around 100 instruments/synths now, and I still want more! I continue to be amazed at the quality of the software available for free or next to nothing. I'm having to fight the urge to grab the AIR bundle.Kalamata Kid wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2020 8:36 pm I have been passing up many no-brainer deals.
I have tamed my GAS and now buy no-brainer deals if they are 50% lower.
Well there are few exceptions.![]()
Speaking of great free software, the free version of BBC Orchestra I recently got is amazing!

Plus 1 for the BBC orchestra.
Not sure why I had to wait so long before I could download?

Over the years I was able to control my GAS on the AIR bundle. I did however buy the Transfuser 2 for $21, Vacuum Pro for $1, Hybrid 3 for $1 and Xpand 2 for $1. And that is it for me.
I do however have some major expenditures coming up by year's end. Cubase, maybe - Studio One - Spectralayers. After that I will get a GASendotomy.

You only get it free if you agree to wait 2 weeks to download it. People who pay for it can download it immediately.frackermak wrote: Sat Jun 27, 2020 1:12 pm Plus 1 for the BBC orchestra.

My specs to buying plugins.
Hope it moderates my GAS
VSTi and VSTfx preference Specs:
Multi-touch is now a must with few exceptions.
Prefer audio fx and midi fx over instruments
If VSTi prefer sample based or hybrid.
Prefer multi-band plugins
Randomize and/or Morph is a big plus
Avoid! Kontakt and Reaktor stuff? Not multi-touch!
MPE important but not essential.
Buy only if the plugin is on sale with deep discounts.
So before I spend any more funds I must first read my specs.

Plugin Alliance has that sale going on now, and I can't make up my mind over bx_oberhausen, bx_rockrack V3 (to go with Shreddage 3 that I already have) or bx_delay 2500. They are so cheap at the moment I could buy two of them actually, especially when using a discount code.
I also had my eye on this one:

Must be at least 100% off.
I probably should start doing this. Though my requirement would be much different. Right now, I'm trying to stop myself from grabbing Nuendo. The competitive crossgrade is $420. I won't have to give up Cubase to get it. Right now I don't need it because I mostly use ProTools when working with video. But in 2 years my perpetual license updates end and I may be looking for something else. Three more days to think on it.....

Surely you have enough delays, like the rest of us
I bought this cheap a while back. Mistake.
Never use it as my other delays are more fun, inspiring and process audio more to my liking.

I ended up buying the bx_rockrack v3 and the bx_bluechorus2 and with a discount code it was $14.99 for both.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Sat Jun 27, 2020 10:24 pmSurely you have enough delays, like the rest of us
