I want to be talked into buying Emergent Properties.

I want it, but like so many melody generating plugins, the vast majority fall by the wayside and end up rotting on my hard drive so I'm trying to be discerning.

I'd be curious to hear what makes it vital and unique? Does it compare in any way to other plugins of this type?
