Hi all

today tracktion-download-manager got new content and after downloading it says "installed", actually it just put Sampler%20Content%20EXP1.content into ~/.config/Tracktion/Content

so if you want MultiSampler found that stuff unzip all dirs from $content$ into ~/.config/Tracktion/Waveform/Presets/

Post

If you are running that latest Waveform, it should "just work". If it isn't, I'll need to look into it.

It's latest 11.1 beta

Similar situation here on Windows 10. Tracktion Download Manager (0.0.8) says in installed the content. It put this file:

Sampler%20Content%20EXP1.content

...into this folder:
C:\Users\{me}\AppData\Roaming\Tracktion\Content\

I'm using the new beta Waveform 11.1.0 and none of the content is showing up that I can find. Re-install seems to just download it again and put the .content file into the same place.

Would it be better to change the Download Manager settings to not auto-install and try to install it manually?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Same here on Linux and Windows 11.0.39.

Thanks for reporting. The download for the content pack currently has the wrong filename, as soon as we get that fixed on the server it will work.

Post

Yeah, I figured having spaces in the filename was a mistake. :-)

I fixed it myself for now. Thanks for the content!

It looks like a change has been made, since the filename is different now, but the file still has "%20" instead of spaces (on a Mac). I renamed the file and I think it's working properly - where I only had 808 and 909 in the Multi Sampler previously, I know have several new pianos/guitars/drums/etc.
