I am trying to use Reason 11 Rack plugin with Waveform 11, specifically the Scales and Chords player. The Scales and Chords player is supposed to take MIDI input and remap the input to a specific scale or chord on the output. It does do that in Waveform 11 but unfortunately it also passes through whatever MIDI notes appear on the input. I cannot figure out how to prevent the MIDI input from passing through. It does work correctly in Cakewalk. Any ideas?

Can confirm, same issue on the latest version of Waveform 11 Pro and Reason 11. (Windows 10)

Yes. I should have specified my configuration. I am also using Waveform 11 Pro on Windows 10.

It may be related to JUCE and its handling of VST3 wrt to MIDI. Kushview Element also has the same problem and is based on JUCE as well.

You are probably right, instachord VST3 has the same issue but works fine as VST2.

At least Instachord has a VST2 option. Reason 11 Rack is VST3 only.

Have you installed the latest Waveform beta - 11.1.0?

There's a major VST3 / MIDI fix in this version.

Yes I have. I actually installed it before I posted here. I got excited when I first saw the announcement indicating a major VST3/ MIDI fix hoping it would address this problem. Alas, it does not.

+1 Version 11.1.0 does not fix the issue.
