If you've already got Voltage Modular I'd recommend grabbing the Vintage Voice and Vector bundles while they're on sale at $39 each and the awesome MS Vintage (Korg MS-20 style) bundle for $29.

If you haven't got Voltage Modular, then get that! It's endless fun making patches. It's like musical Minecraft.
Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have Voltage Modular and don't get along too well with modular synths in general. :( Also, I already have Reaktor 6 with Blocks stuff, so I could use that if I wanted to.

The only modular-type synth I like so far is UA LION, because it is not too-modular.
Fair enough, it'd be a very bland world if we all liked the same things. :tu:
Recommendation #2 - FeelYourSound Chord Potion 2, on intro sale right now, it's kind of EzKeys on Acid - no sounds (well generic piano) with it, but you use it as a MIDI generator and it uses sequence rules to build other notes which you can send to different MIDI channels so you could hold down a chord, a string pad instrument could hold that, a keys instrument could have pulsing stabs, a bassline on a bass could play a couple of octaves down etc. Oh and you can edit those rules and create your own too.

Are you safe?

Just installed it fueled by the positive SOS recommendation and the "free" plugins offered, but on a fast search saw (pardon the fixation) a walled garden to browse samples/VIs and surely paid courses and what else? No simple trace of said given plugins or their registration...

Then stopped further search since it does look too close to a monthly service with its learning curve and associated marketing hassles. No patience for such, particularly since installation actually took me to my almost forgotten loopmaster's account, which was a nono for me.
//My income, interests and faced possibilities are too wild for monthly/future rigidities.

EDIT: uufs re-reading this post comes as unfair judging. This is a free offer by a gathering of suppliers, and in the other end come these prejudices! Guilty as charged :(

Looks interesting.
When you say on sale, do you mean 10% off?
Cheers.

True. Thanks again, I like reading your posts and recommendations. :tu:

Hmmm, Chord Potion 2 looks interesting. I will make sure to demo it. However, I have noticed that such MIDI/arp/etc. tools either get used all the time or get completely ignored. Also, sometimes the problem is with routing and setting it up in the DAW. CP 2 has great features, but I need to see if I can make a good and regular use of it. :)

The upgrade trick works with upgrades purchased from JRR Shop. We have a lot of customers who do that.
Gospel Musicians started their summer sale. I wish you can include this to the JRR list. And what most essential, the product upgrade prices, as well.
E.g. I purchased the GM Neo-Soul Keys from the JRR some time ago.
Now there has been the Neo-Soul Keys 2 for some time, previous time the JRR did not include the upgrade ver 1 -> ver 2 to their list. Can you include now both the sale -50% and sale, with the upgrade prices?

Actually I may be wrong about that, sorry, I thought it was, but I already had v1 so it was a free upgrade for me.

Edit: yeah 10% for the one product and 20% off bundles until 7th July

I went for the producertech 3-month membership in April, wonder if it will work again.

Thank you for telling me. What are the normal and sale prices of that upgrade? The other Gospel Musicians are here:

Neo-Soul Keys 2 upgrade ver 1 -> ver 2 $ 95 if I remember correctly (without the 4th July -50 % sale).

The sale codes should get working in the JRR, otherwise its too complicated

That is a bit misleading because it appears that they used this sale to reduce the regular price to 65$ making this effectively a 20% reduction.

It's also quite interesting that they apparently discontinued most of their previous products. When did that happen? Did not notice that before.

The page I linked to has 5 sections. It sounds like you only read the first section. Scroll down and read, it's all there.
Yes, found it. Thanks for your guidance quietzone.
Not the post for me to read too late at night. In the end it was simple and accessible. Best energy to these firms for coming together and creating this.

Baby Audio - I Heart NY was one I had my eye on for a while. Has anyone tried it yet?
