Yes, I read the blog, it was pretty interesting. I saw he mentioned 8-bit samples, and was wondering if the output in general was a bit noisy -- not because of the bit-depth, but just because of the year the synth came out and the fact that it wasn't Kawai's "flagship" synth. I know some synths from that era have a bit of noise which can add to their charm. I don't particularly care if it isn't too close to the original; I'm just curious as to what the original sounded like.

Sounds pretty much spot on!

For some reason, though, typing "c" in search field doesn't work in Reaper. Not even with "Send all keyboard input to plugin" option enabled.

Alas, the mac uses both Vst and AU (and aax).
Depends on the DAW.

It responds to aftertouch.

So thinking that must be wrong I looked up the original specs and it did indeed have an aftertouch enabled keybed.

Considering how cheap it was at the time relative to more expensive synths I am amazed it had aftertouch.

Mac version please +10000

The K1 was my first synth, so would love to have it in AU and VST (and VST3 if possible) on my MAC!!

I've found a bug, though (at least at my system, Win 10 x64): re-opening the GUI in Ableton Live 10 (v10.1.15) makes Live crash, with this message:

I have similar bug in Reaper x64 with x64 version of plugin, but it happens under particular condition. If I move joystick, and close plugin window, it will crash after I attempt to reopen plugin window. If I leave joystick in initial (central position) everything works fine.

BTW, really great plugin
BTW2, would be nice to have panning per source, but I guess that would screw up patch compatibility for HW version, so no biggie.

Yes, happened two times here. It also happened while Live was playing (but it was the only VST active).

That's may be it, I played with the Joystick before I closed and re-opened the GUI
