The other day i was thinking when will they release Oatmea vsti as open source?

this thing needs to be x64 and get a proper preset manager...

This is the key difference between this and Synth1 per example, Oatmeal can be incredibly deep and powerfull for such low foot-print, it all it needs is some love...

So if anyone knows the devs, ask them to release the source... i am pretty sure lots of people would be interesting in continue to work in this.

Does anyone know how to change font color in a skin?

I am trying to make font in MrM-Blue brighter, as I have an app which attenuates blue on the screen as the day time progresses for the sake of eyes, but font becomes completely unreadable.

I managed to change status font color with the help of regular Paint, but if I try to edit any other image, Oatmeal just crashes!

Some news : I put in the package called "38.1 specific bundle" on the first page all the skins available for Oatmeal 38.1 ("MrM" and "If Lumina" are included). This is all you need. The "all-in-one package" is not up to date, and it contains the files for Oatmeal 37.4, which is useless if Oatmeal 38.1 works fine for you (it is the last and best version).
So download the 38.1 package and this is it.

Burnie thanks for the download.

Oatmeal is still one of the best Synths. Only thing that I miss: a (good looking) larger skin. Some of the existing skins are very nice, but all are too small for modern screen sizes, imo.

I agree, and Oatmeal needs someone who can make a good and large sized skin, but we still wait for this nice guy...

What screen size and resolution gives you problems with current Oatmeal skins ?
2048x1152x23 here and it looks right.
I wouldn't want it to cover more of my screen.

Ay caramba !

Its not a bad size, but the gui is a bit cramped.
99% of the time I use Oatmeal I am dialing the X/Y 'Rate' knob to its minimum value.
And everytime, Im like 'eh it could be a few pixels bigger.'

I have DAWs running on system with full HD and 4K screen resolutions. Even on the full HD system I find the existing skins too small. But if it works fine for you: enjoy!
