It says in the manual that you can Alt+Click in the timeline and the cursor will jump to that spot. Doesn't work for me. Am I missing something?

Seems Alt+click works in the edit window in the midi editor view but not on the timeline itself. I can just left click in the edit window in the main interface and it will move the cursor. However, you need to click on an empty space.
It'd be really nice to be able to Alt+click in the timeline to move the cursor, as it says in the manual.
Furthermore, it would really be nice if there was some consistency when using the midi editor. I really don't understand why it operates differently from the rest of the program. It makes little sense.
Thanks.
