Hey guys i just need some help with this white noise whoosh sounds i've made, theres a couple mseg's going during the release stage of the sound
I want to make a nice loop when things are sorta filtered down in the sound so i can then re-sustain that section for as long as i need if thats possible?
Here's the patch currently and also a picture that gives you a rough idea of what i'm going for

Can you not loop the last section of the mseg?

Yeah but I'm trying to figure out how to loop the section of where it gets all lowpassed towards the last quarter of the tail?

Can you add another handle at that quarter tail mark and then loop that final section? Not clear if this MSEG is modulating the filter also...if it is then that won't work unless you duplicate the MSEG to another slot and use one for the filter and one for the Amp.

Tip (I'm not sure whether it was clear in the manual): If there are no handles to the right of the loop, that loop will continue during release.

MSEG1 - is modulating the HPF to open a little bit for 1 beat during sustain then open up fully for the remaining 7 beats
MSEG2 - Is acting like an On / Off for LFO 1, it turns on in the release stage
MSEG3 - Is turning up the resonance of the HPF during release
LFO1: Is linked to the LPF of VCF1
My brain is just fried with this patch, I just can't figure out how to re-loop a section of the release so i can create a never ending section of the release tail, has anyone had a play around with my patch?
Just to be clear I want the sound to have its sustained white noise section then in the release section where things are being LP'd and also the HP opens up i want to have a section of that release tail just loop forever, is that possible?

I'm still pretty new to sound design in zebra

Basically haha, is such a thing possible? ADSR-L-R?NAD wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 5:19 pm Are you saying that you want two loops? (i.e. one during the sustain and one during the release?)

"Release" starts when the key/note is released, so having two release stages is impossible in this universe.

Damn i thought it could work in this universe...better go to an alternate one nowHoward wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:52 pm"Release" starts when the key/note is released, so having two release stages is impossible in this universe.
Would you be able to help me make the patch so it just plays a predetermined length? Say 16 bars?
Like is there a way i can modulate the Sustain of Env 2 for the LPF?

Here's a proof of concept how one might go about having one loop during the sustain and a different one after release:

That is similar in concept to my one, it doesn't have a loop though in the release section, it just does its release as normal?NAD wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 9:20 pm Here's a proof of concept how one might go about having one loop during the sustain and a different one after release: 2loops.zip
