Add a dropdown menu in top left to pick a few different GUI sizes. This will be reachable even in DAWs that don't allow scrolling the oversized plugin GUIs. Store this as a default value in an .ini file - preferably in ProgramData or AppData\Roaming (because if some people use the default VST2 folder which is in Program Files, this is not a writable folder unless the user has admin rights, which should never be assumed as being the case).Nils Schneider wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 8:40 pm The default resolution is 1280x720, is that too large? Opinions please

I'm going to store the window size as part of the project data chunk, this allows to remember it per instance and it is portable.

Only if you donate a Mac
Just kidding, I'm in preparation steps for a Mac version already, once I have everything ready I'm going to rent one at macincloud.com to setup & build the project. I'm not sure if I can install software on these machines though to test it, not sure if Garageband is preinstalled (I won't have admin rights to install something).

Nils,
loving the synth. and I'm glad you're responding quickly with updates for bugs.
if I may make a UI suggestion, I think you can remove the "edit common" label then move the "edit" button up under the "4" selector, and re-label the "edit" button as "common." Unless this is a specific carry-over from the original devices, then by all means keep it as-is.
peace and continued good luck with this.

Garageband is only supporting AU, Ableton users often are VST only.Nils Schneider wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 2:20 pm Just kidding, I'm in preparation steps for a Mac version already, once I have everything ready I'm going to rent one at macincloud.com to setup & build the project. Great work! Really like the plugin. Though I agree with other posters that the workflow could be a bit more streamlined. But overall great work! Thanks!

That is not correct, Ableton Live can host both AU and VST

That's correct, Ableton can be configured to use AU. However there are hosts on Mac, like Cubase, that can't.
AU and VST3 are the standard modern formats for Mac for a plugin like this.
I'm happy to beta test if that's helpful.
