So people wanting to have viral hits need different sounds from people who don't want viral hits?hotmitts wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 12:50 pmhotmitts wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 12:44 pm'You have never been so close to glory' -yeah, i know, right (just fighting off the fans as I type)Insanelysane wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 5:47 am Damn, gearslutz removed the link so its dead now. For those still curious go here and watch their trailer for the Ultra (tm) bundle, the wording and 'sell' is hilarious:

"As a composer you are living in an extraordinary century, you can compose from your imagination"
Every century was extraordinary for composers. And what were all those classical composers who simply wrote music without the aid of any instrument or perhaps wrote orchestral pieces on a piano were using if not their imagination?
"some of these sounds have been heard billions of times, you have never been so close to glory"
Is that how things generally work? Elvis songs have been heard billions of times so if you do a cover you are bound to be a success?
I'm sad to see that the word "ultra" is now trade marked.
Of course, I'm in, where do I pay?
