Ableton Live 10: What makes all basic actions in big projects slow? Is there a work around?

I am experiencing same sluggishness with live and big projects, is there some workaround ? I dont get it,,, When I checks Performance, everything is running smooth in process explorer, but Ableton is Lagging like hell, is this Windows Issue, is this same on Macs ? Or it is poorly coded, or what ?

Any tips would be appreciated

I wonder if there's any correlation to running High DPI mode (or whatever it's called - the graphic setting for higher resolution monitors) ?

I was getting a sluggish UI in Ableton, removing the Maschine remote scripts fixed the issue for me.

Got sluggish project back in Live 10, which had massive amounts of cut up wav's as tracks. For me it was zooming out from the wav's which then started lagging. Have not had such yet with Live 12.
