How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

I watched your compression video. I find it difficult to follow your voice. Not a native speaker either, but usually I do have little trouble to follow the narration. You speak some phrases quite fast, then you kind of pause and articulate single words very loud. Sometimes your voice goes up and down an octave. It draws my attention from what is actually explained.
If you would speak just a little more consistent, then it's much easier to follow IMO.

how do you get Signalizer to behave like that? can't figure it out, Beats mode just makes it scroll by at the same speed as my project bpm.
you got it to look like in LFOTool but better.
oh never mind, found it, beats mode alone isn't enough, need Window Trigger mode as well.
I thought I had no use for this when I installed it a while ago but used this way it's very nice. :tu:

Do you have a way to reposition the camera?
So I tried it and it worked suprisingly well. For some funny money I ordered a tripod which lets me position a camera higher, so it looks much more natural.

So many great tips in this thread guys, thank you!
Apart from the compression being a bit too in-your-face
Maybe.
there seems to be lot of artefacts in the audio, as if you were recording your voice-over at too low a bit-rate
No idea where does it come from and how to fix it

BTW, it's not a voice-over, I record all the video + music + voice at once.
It doesn't really matter whether or not it's a voice-over. What matters is that you have some issues that need sorting, and you don't make it clear whether you can even hear them, or not.

The audio presentation on your videos is extremely important. Why would anyone want to take audio advice from someone who can't even identify their own audio problems?

The issues with the recording of your voice should really be investigated. Try different experiments with different settings to try to determine where this issue is coming from. And the compression on your voice? You don't think it's an issue? Good luck with that! But if you are interested, perhaps check out and compare to other Youtubers.

You are already at a huge disadvantage because of your accent, phrasing, pronunciation and enunciation. Compounding these issues with audio problems and bad choices just makes everything so much more unintelligible.

I happen to think your written English and comprehension is very good. This is helpful, of course, in working out what you want to say. However, making tutorial videos obviously relies on how well you can present and communicate these ideas. To that end, I'd definitely recommend getting a vocal/speech coach (At the very least, from the USA. But I'd recommend British). I think this would make a huge difference :tu:

Oh, I just fixed the mic for good simply by replacing electric socket with the grounded one. All noises are gone, now the only thing microphone picks is the PC.

No one in this thread came up with the idea that I might be living in an old house with poor power grid :P

Alright, I'm back with some new content coming. Let's take a look at Gullfoss in a plenty of examples.

Now I have noiseless mic setup, but also tried new editing software - DaVinci Resolve Free. Well, it's free version is already in every aspect better than the paid version of VSDC. Not only it is much more potent and gives better results but also is a pleasure to work with. I feel like making few more videos this month.
(I know about the noise in the camera, but free version does not offer noise removal).

This one was recorded back in... July? But only edited recently. Now I can publish it, as the remix is out in all stores!

It was a good suggestion to add some background music.

Did you mean the videos are too loud? If so, know that they are all normalized by Youtube, and quite quiet for that reason.

Maybe I should boost the voice level to make it more in line with the music?
