Hello all!
How do I route the sliders and or control pots to various soft synths Filters/LFO's, etc? Please speak in plain english, and not in MuTooleesh. I'm still new to this...

Also, If I do route them, will MuLab record the turning of the knob or slider "live" as I'm playing?

OK, so the Nektar Impat LX61+ controller is an external MIDI keyboard.
It's sending MIDI messages to Mulab.
You want to use those MIDI messages to control stuff in Mulab.
And you want to record... either the MIDI messages, or the effect of those messages.
Easy one first: you need to make a decision. You can record the input, the output, various points in between or all of these. Which of these is it you're after?
Using the control messages means you have to tell each and every module what you want those control messages to mean. So you need to understand about "MIDI learn". That basically means you find the control you want to control, and it listens to the MIDI messages and learns that's how it gets controlled.

Ok, my next day off is Tuesday, and I will get it all hooked up and then go from there with more questions. Thank you! I'm not new to MIDI, I've been doing this since the mid 80's. I'm just newer to the software side of things. But basically, I want to play a note, or an arpegio, turn a knob on the controller, and have it filter sweep. I'm sure we've all heard the sound I'm trying to do, like an analog synth filter sweep. But again, I'll get it all set up Tuesday or Wed and then ask more questions...

This may also help, but it's in fluent "MuTooleesh"
