DAW Essentials Ubuntu - HOW?

I purchased DAW Essentials. When downloaded on Ubuntu 19.10 the "daw_essentials_collection_1.0.39.tar.gz" file ends up in Downloads and when the download completes Download Manager simply opens the Archive Manager and that's it. So I can see all the plugin files but not a clue where to properly install them. There isn't even a PDF in the archive that explains how to install it in case something goes wrong!!! :-(

Can't things be made a little easier guys? I tried manually copying the files into a VST folder. Waveform recognized them but of course saw them as unlicensed so that was useless. I deleted the files and now I wait for somebody to suggest how I should actually install these plugins I paid for.

Still using Download Manager 0.0.8 as 1.0.1 simply installs and didn't work at all. It literally does nothing.

I did try simply downloading the "Individual Installer" which is exactly the same archive file with no instructions.

Frustrated.

You were correct to unzip them into the ~/.vst folder. Then scan them with Waveform. Open the plugin and press the unlock button in the upper right of the plugin window.

Thanks for the info - on a Sunday even! :-)

Ok, I played around some more. It seems I can just stick them anywhere normal VST goes and license them from the about box. Nevertheless, it would be nice for a simple PDF to be included that makes this clear.
