I have Harmor and sold Chromaphone some time ago.
And once you have Harmor, you have it. (NFR.) But I don't think I've used or even opened it in months. And with the current sale going on, am considering buying Chromaphone again. But can't say I really need either.

In fact, I just slated Harmor for removal from my 'home' system. It's been more desktop distraction than anything else lately.
True, you can't resell Harmor. Occasionally, it does go for a pretty low price though. I got it for $59 on Sweetwater in January of '19.

Why would you say you don't use Harmor? Not your taste?

For quite a while, I didn't understand Harmor's potential, as I really just didn't understand how to use it. It is quite different from all the usual subtractive synths. But the more I learn about it, the more interesting it becomes. So powerful! I just wish it had some way to do audio-rate FM on the partials!

I really dislike working with the envelopes in Harmor though. That part of the interface could be a lot more user-friendly! That's where a lot of the power is too!

Animator for Prism and Animator for Razor look excellent
I need to check those out too! I have Prism and Razor as well, and almost never use them. I haven't played with Prism much. I do like Razor though! I have too many plugins! I need to sell some of them and focus a bit more. But I suppose I should give Prism another look!

Don't overlook MIKRO-Prism. Sounds great, many less knobs, lots of free snaps in the UL:

And here's a nice reworking of it, there, too:

It'll open Prism snaps, too…

...Harmor can produce some amazing percussion sounds...
I've been testing Harmor for a few hours. I like it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the €80 (50% off). Got some nice metallic/bell sounds out of it with the prism and pluck knob, but the sounds do not vary thát much. That image file conversion to audio is really nice, didn't see that coming. Resynthesis is disappointing. Image Line tells it does have the quality of a sampler, but it doesn't. Planning on seeing tutorials and testing more of Harmor.

Just a pity Harmor is still not available on Mac (so my license is going unused)

To realize Harmor's power, you really need to get into using images to control the partials and also using the many very powerful envelopes. It took me a while to appreciate what can be done with Harmor. I was never particularly interested in the resynthesis stuff myself. I've scarcely even played with that.

But your experience with it might well vary from mine. I think it is an amazing synth! It is the most powerful additive synth I know of. And I also have Falcon, Synclavier, CMI V, Loom, and Razor. Quite a different beast from the usual subtractive stuff.

Well then, as a hobbyist sound designer, I'll have to dive deeper into Harmor these days :D

...Been studying and programming Prism. Got some nice sounds from it, but not thát much. Does anybody know how to draw your own partials in the modal bank? If you can draw your own partials, can this be done by note number? Because I noticed the partials differ per note number. Or is the only way to start patching by selecting a snapshot and they provide the partials in the modal bank?
Anyone?

This new video from Chandler shows off MSoundFactory's modeling powers and flexibility quite well, I think, while both covering some cool ways to mess around with a basic impulse-into-resonators approach and also potentially clarifying how to do similar things in any other similarly equipped devices or by combining several; plenty of intriguing paths not taken but glimpsed here, IMO, as well as clear demos of those that were:
