Haha ok how about i just show you some rough audio, should be alot easier than me trying to describe

Here's a sorta the rough loop idea, this should paint the picture of what i want

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're wanting the sound to keep on going indefinitely after the note has been released, correct? How would you ever stop it then?

Yeah essentially, like a delay with its feedback @ 100

It would be stopped by automating the "feedback" level from 100 to 0

Not sure if this can be done in zebra?

Yeah, I'm not aware of any synths that can do that, sound like a stuck note nightmare. Although maybe you can try doing it with an actual delay by automating the send level and feedback.

Yeah i'll just have to use some outside effects to achieve it

You might be able to help me with a related thing i'm trying to do

I'm trying to create mimic a tap delay effect with an LFO

Currently the LFO is controlling the LPF cutoff as a 1/8 dotted

Here's the current idea and also kinda what i want

"Yeah i'll just have to use some outside effects to achieve it"
It's perfectly possible (dare I say "easy"?) to achieve within Zebra i.e. without external effects.

Yeah delay with with feedback set to 100, i got it ;)

I just thought maybe i could have some internal automation going on, just to keep as much automation contained within the plugin itself

Any advice on the LFO tap delay thing howard?

First day back at work after a 10 day holiday at home; I could have another look at the weekend :) but I'm pretty sure you can do it without our help - keep trying radically different approaches, "think inside the box".

yeah, that must be why he started a thread saying "need help"

never understand why certain ppl have to give cryptic replies instead of a straight answer.... let me guess... "ooh, it encourages ppl to experiment"

not everyone has 50 years experience, and sometimes a straight answer is enough to get ppl going. Making it difficult is a good way to put ppl off....

You misrepresent my intentions, AnX, but you guessed correctly: I was trying (possibly failing!) to encourage experimentation. Without spending some time on this, I can't give a "straight answer" as I don't have one ready. I just don't have the time/energy until the weekend.

Oh i'm definitely experimenting! Its just i'm still learning to navigate my way through zebra

It also doesn't help that I'm working on this thing after being up all night and my brain is fried haha
