I just bought Prosonus Ampire vst for Waveform 11 Pro. Super excited to check it out. Won't load properly so can't use it. The vst UI only loads about halfway and can only interact with the menus, the amps and effects aren't visible because the UI doesn't fully load.
Anybody able to get Ampire to work in Waveform Pro. What other Guitar Amp/Effects vst are Waveform Pro users happy with.
Thanks for any feedback
I'm running windows 10 on an Intel i7 9750 PC with 16 GB RAM

Under Win 10 and Waveform 11, I use RealLPC and RealStrat with zero problems, feeding usually into GTR3...also no issues.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Appreciate the responses. @astey, DPI awareness was the ticket, huge Thank You!
Up and running and liking the clean amp sounds and effect pedals in Ampire so far.
If anyone else runs into the UI of their vst not loading properly, try turning on DPI awareness. Put the vst in a track, In the Properties box at bottom of Waveform, go to Configure plugin channels, then select Enable DPI awareness. Instantly fixed my issue with Ampire UI not loading fully.

I use Positive Grid's Amps & FX. The're having a sale now https://www.positivegrid.com/bias-amp/ It works and loads fine in WF 11 pro.
You have a 4k monitor? This can cause scaling problems. Try enabling dpi awareness. Or, you may have to use magnification up to around 200%. I extend my 4k laptop to a lower resolution monitor, and that's solved my scaling problems. It's a PITA, and only a coupla weeks ago did I find that high res monitors have an effect on vst GUI's.

I see you've resolved your problem. Well, if you run into it again with a different plugin, you can file my last paragraph away. I had an Izoptope plugin that was rendered unusable due to the resolution, despite the scaling being fine. I always have to drag those plugins into my lower res extended monitor.

Wow, because they sure didn't for me! They wouldn't even validate, and the folks at PositiveGrid told me I should not be using Waveform with their products! I had to fight for a refund, but in the end they conceded. Curious it works for you!GuitarPlayerinNYC wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2020 3:24 am I use Positive Grid's Amps & FX. First thing I should say is that amp sims are often a matter or personal taste and the genre of music you are playing. I can't recommend any of the Positive Grid stuff, although it did run on Waveform for me without issue - beyond the fact that the interface is shite. The deal breaker is that their amp sims just sound totally crap to me. Fortunately I didn't pay for any of their stuff, I got it gratis as part of Focusrite Collective giveaways and immediately deleted after trying out.
Amplitube 4 has some good sounds but is a bit hit and miss and usually needs alot of eqing to sound real for my taste. My personal faves are the perennially popular Scuffham S-Gear and Fuse Audio's F-59, these have zero issues with Waveform and sound good to my ear. Nothing replaces miking up a cab but that often isn't practicable and sims are good enough to fool most people in a mix.

In any case, after spending loads on software guitar plugins and really not liking them, I now use a Helix. There's other cheaper options- Yamaha THR line, and the Line 6 TT. They all act as interfaces as well. The Helix is way more than I need, but I was getting really fed up dialing in tones. In reality, I might use 5 different tones. Something in the Zoom mfx line should more than suffice. Or the Katana, for some gritty rock/blues. The Zoom gx Four has more tones than the Katana, and costs less than the Positive Grid software. I'm just a gear whore.
