I’m not having any luck trying to get old vintage sounding strings or LoFi quality string preset.
I had luck on my hardware synth with EQ but struggling with Zebra2.
Any presets copping this tone would be appreciated.
Almost bought Zebratron but it also seems to lack that low fidelity tone I’m after.
Thanks

If Howie can't do it I reckon it can't be done....diaper@ky wrote: Thu Jul 16, 2020 3:50 am Almost bought Zebratron but it also seems to lack that low fidelity tone I’m after.
Your best bet is probably to go with samples.

I’m going to get Zebratron, love Howard’s stuff.
I can always use and automate another VSTi effect to mangle the sound if my Rotary Cabinet won’t work.
And yes, I use Zebra2/HZ Live since it’s the only softy I have that doesn't fizzle out over an Array.
I’ve got an Akai MPC and the Keygroups/sample is spot on but I can’t give up anymore RAM as that forces me to do a project load during my performance which I must avoid at all costs.
Wish Akai would break down and add more RAM on the next “upgrade.”
Thanks guys.

Glad I bought it, the demo skipped over some of the gems. I easily snagged the sounds I need, Howard did really good on this, just had to cut lows & highs around 5k to place the old Mellotron where I needed.
Now my MPC can do what it’s best at, reversed VOX, 808basses, percussion, Fox and drums.
Once again, Zebra2/HZ scores.
Thanks
Take your time on Zebra3, still learning Zebra2 after 7 years.
