Tremolo in MVibratoMB VS MTremoloMB

I'm ideally interested in both plugins but I have a couple of questions.

1. Why should one buy MTremoloMB if tremolo (as amplitude modulation) is also included in MVibratoMB?
2. Why doesn't MVibrato "pass the null-test" at 0% depth?

Thanks for asking this question. I had only ever tested out MTremoloMB and was all set to get it. However after testing out MVibratoMB and liking its rotary/chorus style presets, I had a closer look at the differences. I could take the presets that I liked from MTremoloMB and import them into MVibratoMB. If I then swapped the imported presets to use the 'Tremolo' parameter rather than the 'Depth' parameter (which I changed to 0), I could get them to sound identical to MTremoloMB.

So in short, MVibratoMB gives me all the sounds I liked from MTremoloMB, plus a whole lot more.

I am not sure if there might be going on something different under the hood, but one difference I noticed is that the LFO override does not work for the tremolo inside MVibratoMB. This is possible in the "native" tremolo plugin "MTremoloMB", though.

2. Why doesn't MVibrato "pass the null-test" at 0% depth?

Interesting question. Could also not let MVibratoMB "pass" this test. Thb: I had to do a little research what this "null-test" is, while I was aware that it exists, but I did not know how it was called (so thanks for that, btw!).

To everyone in my situation: the null-test basically means that you have two identical audio materials. The first one may have the effect at depth 0% in this case, while the other track has no effect, but the phase has to be inverted. Now if both materials are still identical they should phase out, means: you shouldn't be able to hear (or see in any graph) anything.

I bought MVibratoMB in the meantime... I'll decide later for for MTremoloMB.
And maybe contact support to have some insight on the matter.
