WF11 Pro still seems to be solid on Windows thankfully. However, since 11.0.26 it really seems to have gone downhill on Ubuntu.
-- Currently, I cannot get Download Manager working beyond version 0.0.8. I have tried probably a dozen times.
-- Updates like the Multi Sampler Content 1.1 or 1.2 don't work. A misnamed file full of %20 (space) delimiters gets downloaded and moved to .config/Tracktion/Content and then nothing happens. The file has to be manually unpacked and the presets moved to the .config/Traction/Waveform/Content/Presets folder.
-- MultiSampler is now doing TERRIBLE things with some samples. If I select the 808 or Spanish Guitar samples, no problem. If I select the Grand Piano sample, my little 4G system is immediately brought to it's knees with every bit of physical and virtual RAM consumed. No allocation limit? Common!
-- The container window for plugins does not handle resizing well at all. Often the title/drag bar get overdrawn by the VST and there is no way to move the VST.
-- CPU usage has gone up steadily since 11.0.26 - on Windows as well
I'd really like to keep using Waveform 11 on Ubuntu but it's getting very frustrating. I should note that my little Ubuntu machine is rock stable for everything else I do with it which includes web, code development, etc. A dual core i5 and 4G of Ram has been more than enough to play around with Waveform until recently.
