Agadoo is basically just a less serious version of the US craze of the Hustle with lyrics added over it. I think you either will love or hate it wags.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

Just started to listen to your disco songs.wagtunes wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 6:24 pm 8th track from my upcoming CD "Disco Everywhere"
This song is a total enigma...
Hopefully, somebody here will tell me why this is my least favorite song on the CD because technically, I have no idea.
This one i think has a problem with the drums. To me it sounds like wrong kind of drums for disco.
What the right sort should be, i don't know...

Unfortunately, I think the problems with this track go way beyond what kind of drums I'm using.Saffran wrote: Sat Jul 18, 2020 9:39 pmJust started to listen to your disco songs.wagtunes wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 6:24 pm 8th track from my upcoming CD "Disco Everywhere"

9th track from my upcoming CD "Disco Everywhere"
Back to the fun and the strange. I think this is, at best, disco flavored. But it's probably more just straight EDM. I don't know. I'm too close to it. I'll let the genre experts figure it out.
As for the song itself, really like this one. It's my 2nd Vocaloid song on the CD and I think it fit well. Also, some use of OVox, which is a really cool vocal FX. All in all, really pleased with how this came out. I think you'll agree.
Bump My Bump
This is the night when we let it all hang out
This is the night when we all will twist and shout
Let our hair down
And shake it all around
Bump my bump
Shake it shake it baby
Bump my bump
Don't act like a lady
This is the night when we rock on to the sound
This is the night when we make the world go round
Dance to the groove
The music makes you move
Repeat Chorus
Instrumental Break
Repeat Chorus

Really like this one. It's very catchy. Would benifit with a real female vocalist though.

The instrumental section reminds me of the music I listen to you called ‘keyboards demo music’ and Bollywood music. I like the synth choir and synth sounds and the bass.

I enjoyed the instrumental break, and the string stabs. Not sure about the vocals.wagtunes wrote: Sun Jul 19, 2020 1:17 am 9th track from my upcoming CD "Disco Everywhere"

It does sound exotic. The melodies were lingering in my mind for a while afterward.

Well, the vocals are Vocaloid so they are what they are. They're the last Vocaloid song for this CD. I think 2 is more than enough given how most people totally detest them.Spring Goose wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 9:27 amI enjoyed the instrumental break, and the string stabs. Because it was more conventional. This one was more odd, for lack of a better word.
