MTurbocompressor has active presets based on vintage models, but you can actually make your own compressors if you want, so it's not really fair to say it's a vintage simulation when it can do much more. Even MTurbo EQ has more features than the things it emulates(adjustable saturation, LP &HP filters, etc).

In the future I imagine most of the Melda plugins will have easy screens, but first V11 needs to be released. Afterwards all the Melda plugins should be easier to use.
Exactly.
Ease of use is not connected to the word turbo. V11 will bring ease of use to every plugin. MTurboReverb is not really much to do with hardware emulations.

Yep, originally the Turbo series should be like "the best of analog + digital, easy to use and comprehensive", but eventually it's more like the total approach to EQ, Comp, Reverb (+ who knows what's next) that is super easy to use, super fast for CPU, and just speeds up the production, so Turbo ;).

though more than 3 years have passed since this thread started...

i have MDoubleTracker and MDoubleTrackerMB
and MTurboReverb and MTurboReverbMB in my plugins MeldaProduktion folder in Effects of S1.
For MSpectralDelay there is no MB version.

Is the "MB" appendix only a (re)naming thing and i can delete (in Windows) e.g. "MTurboReverbMB.dll"
and keep "MTurboReverb.dll"? I prefer names as short as possible (because of lim. space in Mixer) and better overview.

Post

No, they are different plug-ins. The "MB" indicates a multiband edition.

Some DAWs let you give plug-ins an alias; does S1 do that?

thx! I should have simply loaded both versions and look before i ask!

Don't understand this question, why you ask this.

Because you could then rename the plug-ins, as they appear in the DAW, to, for example, "MTR MB", as you said that "I prefer names as short as possible (because of lim. space in Mixer) "
