On a Mac, Soundsource can get you any plugin on iTunes playback https://rogueamoeba.com/soundsource/meldavid wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 2:54 pmCan everybody here please plead Apple to buy out Sound Theory so they can implement Gullfoss as an iTunes equaliser option as well as a plugin for Logic Pro X. And so I don't have to buy it. Also Sanjay C likes my analogy that Gullfoss is the audio equivalent of the Photoshop hi-pass sharpening trick. K. Thanks. Bye.

I put both the KH-COMP and the Black/Blue Ash in my cart and the total it's spitting out is $47. pretty hard to pass up... playing with the demos this afternoon to decide.
Just tried it and:

Yes cheapest its been. Its still pricey at $90 but yeah the 50% 'saving' feels like such a bargain :/monomox wrote: Fri Jul 24, 2020 3:34 amDaaaang! FWIW, I got it for $83 from JRR Shop earlier this year if I remember correctly. It was not even 50% off (guess it was $99), so if JRR Shop had it in their shop now and allowed the "Group" coupon, it would be less than $83!Insanelysane wrote: Fri Jul 24, 2020 4:28 amYes cheapest its been. For 50% off, if one ever wanted it, I'd say go for it. Awesome price indeed regardless of any additional discount.

Keep in mind that this happened before with Black Rooster (people using codes for other things / gaming their cart system) and they got so shitty they banned (or threatened to?) people's accounts from their database. They considered it theft and were really serious about it.

oh jeez I did not know that... didn't mean to cause any trouble.. not sure that would be considered "would be gaming their system" since they set up the codes. but regardless. not trying to stir anything up. just trying to be helpful to a community that has been helpful to me.MogwaiBoy wrote: Fri Jul 24, 2020 11:06 pm Keep in mind that this happened before with Black Rooster (people using codes for other things / gaming their cart system) and they got so shitty they banned (or threatened to?) people's accounts from their database. If a company described my spending money on them as theft, I'd probably be a bit miffed.
One year Ableton f'ed up their upgrade and all was available super cheap. A few lucky souls got in quick for bargains before Abes sorted it out, they honoured the transactions and didn't accuse anyone of anything.

Exactly what i was thinking. I think that guy was trolling or something. Company are much more likely to worry about people using cracked version of their software and are probably very happy to have paying customers. Now i don't want encourage people to be tool liberal about this either but getting bann really?revvy wrote: Sat Jul 25, 2020 6:26 am If a company described my spending money on them as theft, I'd probably be a bit miffed.

With the code, the Black Rooster ALL bundle comes down to $153. They were selling almost the same bundle for $99 a few months ago (that one didn't include the KH-COMP1, everything else was the same). So it's not like this is wildly undercutting their own pricing.

And I managed to find another bargain this year and upgraded to Suite 10 for Eur 155
