Dang, had an idea that would use a multiband dynamic eq or saturation, yet it seems there are no multiband fx available in msf? Would atleast like to see these two...

I don't see mxxx as an fx. Is it cool to use mxxx inside msf as a commercial product, ie, wouldn't the end user be required to own it?

Very cool it is, I'm not in front of MSF atm but it's there somewhere and no, MSF is a self contained product, no need for extra licenses.Touch The Universe wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2020 6:38 amWhere where whereSampleconstruct wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2020 6:33 amYou can use MXXX inside MSF, multi-band galore...Touch The Universe wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2020 6:18 am Dang, had an idea that would use a multiband dynamic eq or saturation, yet it seems there are no multiband fx available in msf? Until I can find the main msf thread, what is the best way to control the envelope for a sampler, besides the main global envelope? I assign the volume to envelope one, yet it is constrained by the global envelope. Mainly, is it possible to bypass the global envelope, if not, I might need to have an envelope for all six generators in this case...

Nope, there's no main MSF thread; there's as many as have been started in this main MeldaProduction area by endless posters since MSF was born:); which I'd venture makes searching a bit more useful than it is in single endless threads, (like the 500+pages for, say, Falcon, or Avenger threads!) Doesn't matter, since there just isn't one. Searching works pretty well, though tedious, for sure… Or, you can simply add to the endlessness by starting a new thread for every question you've got and let others point you at previous topics that may or may not exist or be relevant.btw, where is the main thread for msf? Its a mess trying to find it, lol
Here's a search I just used to locate at least four "envelope" threads I recall seeing over the last year or so:
search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keyw ... %5B%5D=138
The threads I found are:
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=528306&p=7457578& ... e#p7457578
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=527705&p=7446551& ... e#p7446551
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=525873&p=7414199& ... e#p7414199
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=526526&p=7424086& ... e#p7424086
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=544284Is it cool to use mxxx inside msf as a commercial product, ie, wouldn't the end user be required to own it?
TL, DR:
In the FX grid, use MXXX 1, not MXXX, and you'll have no trouble accessing the full version of MXXX, assuming you find, as many others have noted, that choosing MXXX 1 DOES require owning MXXX itself, which wasn't originally the case, and has yet to be explained by Vojteck, the Melda dev. There's also a bit of current confusion, as you'll read in the linked thread, about using MXXX as a Multi-Band device inside MSF…which also wasn't originally the case. MSF IS a moving target—Welcome to the ENDLESS Synth!
