They don't even respond there, i doubt they'll respond here ;)

I know, the Steinberg forums are _the worst_ i've ever used - well, probably not the actual worst, but definitenly in recent memory.

It could be mistake but I read many toxic mods' comment in their forum. It's pathetic to see having rude mods in official forum for such a famous software which is sold by 4 billion sales company.

That forum is a ghost town

Well that's not making me hopeful :( Maybe there's still a way I and somebody here can help :)

Would any kind person with a Steinberg forum account be willing to copy/paste or link the following message to this topic? Thank you  https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewto ... 6&t=163615

After going through nearly all preferences to recreate the audio processing error, the project folder location was found to be the cause. In the Steinberg Hub upon Cubase startup (or file -> new project), if the "Use Default Location" is set to a folder within the Cubase program files folder, audio processing (reverse, normalize, etc.) will fail. Changing the default location to any folder outside of the Cubase program files folder will allow processing as normal. For example:

Causes the error: H:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5\Cubase Projects

Works as normal: H:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase Projects
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you clearly identify your fix with a description of the problem then anyone with half a google skill will find this thread and your solution

Maybe someone thinks you don't have a license?

Good idea. I'll just make another topic specifically addressing the issue. Hopefully that works for those who search the web for the issue. I still want to keep my original topic as is in case a mod from there sees it. I still have hope :help:

That would be ridiculous for them to assume that and not give me any chance to prove it. It didn't ask for any proof of license when registering.

Maybe they are too busy with new implementations, vst 3.7 , midi 2.0 and support for apple arm processors could be a behemoth of work. Maybe they seized all their tech support and mods for all these tasks. Not only the mods are missing, also the ticket support is the worst thing i ever encountered in any company . But did you notice there is noone saying: apologize for this that it took so long , we were too busy and we want to improve our support for the future or something?

I am not sure I understand your problem, but I would generally advise against using anything under “Program Files/“ as a location for projects. This folder and sub folders are usually write protected for non-admin users under Windows. yes, you can of course change the permissions, but It’s not what I would call best practice and prone to problems.
Just use your personal “Documents” folder or create a dedicated folder like “H:\Cubase Projects”.

That being said, I never had any problems in the Steinberg forums. It wasn’t really helpful though, either. And Steinberg support is embarrassingly bad and slow.
