So, you have a pop at someone who misses that a deal was posted earlier claiming it's "chat" while ignoring all the chaff that pushed the original post onto an older page? And instead of just reporting it, you just add more chat? Way to go.Harry_HH wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 3:55 pmNo chat - see prev. page.eungang wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 3:43 pm A fantastic deal on one of most iconic delay units of all time, the Binson Echorec! No worries, I didn't know it had already been posted. Sorry to offend.Gamma-UT wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 3:59 pmSo, you have a pop at someone who misses that a deal was posted earlier claiming it's "chat" while ignoring all the chaff that pushed the original post onto an older page? Exactly...people need to stop acting in ways that further the stereotype that musicians are narcissists. Nobody needs that.

Coming from an IT background in banking, I have to say musicians are not that bad at all. And the KVR forum is quite civilized most of the time. The stereotype seems to have its foundations in images of certain artists, legends and misconceptions, but not reality.

I demoed both and preferred the sound from the Echorec even though Echoes ostensibly has more controls to tweak

Cheers! I decided to jump in and purchase last night. No word yet on license delivery. Best case they honour it, worst case they refund.jzero wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 3:16 pmStill don't know anything.. The email from vintageking said "For electronic delivery orders, please allow 24-48 hours for your activation code."'MogwaiBoy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 6:47 amAwesome, thanks, please let us knowjzero wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 5:50 am https://vintageking.com/steven-slate-drums-5
I just bought it for $53 and change. I think this is 5.0 not 5.5... I will confirm once I install.
Clearly it is not the fault of all the retailers simultaneously publishing the incorrect price - it must have come from Slate. See what happens, and thanks for the heads up : )

Both different by sound, not worse\not better.
Audiority thing, is a bit more experimental-wise, with lot of dark medley variations.
Pulsar thing glossy-costly-drive imprint.

I'd like to improve my (so-far poor) keyboard skills. Does anyone have any experience with some of the courses included in the bundle?v1o wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 9:29 pm Stack Skills The Ultimate Piano Bundle: $1,961 off original price, now $39!

I bought the Audiority Binson Echorec recently right here secondhand but have only installed, not really tested yet. But I can say I really like the character of the Pulsar, very lively sound and the drift is cool and unique. One-trick pony but quite an awesome pony? It's definitely not going to be your swiss-army knife "does everything" delay, but it brings a colour I haven't found elsewhere.
