IP banned?

I use the hotspot on the works phone when I am out and about at work to surf on the ipad and when i tried KVR today it said IP banned, I initially thought my entire account had been banned, but it seems it is just the works mobile, Im able to log in using NordVPN, anyway to get the work mobile white listed or should I just carry on using the VPN ?

You gotta do whatever works for you.
Sounds like someone on your mobile work network (can be quite big - big pie slice of your nation / state' mobile network) has been misbehaving so badly that an IP ban had to be put on it. And how long ago was that? No one knows afaik.
But that also means the banned person can do the same. Conclusion: IP bans are not that effective.
One wonders though whether anyone with the power to do something even reads this. Some acknowledgement messages get across would be nice once in a while...
