Bug: Step Clip preset saved with "Exclude Patterns" has no sections (Waveform 10)

So this wouldn't be a problem (I made the preset because I added cymbals to the default preset), but it seems to be impossible to actually add a new pattern when there isn't one to begin with.

Obviously I can work around this but I'm guessing this is a bug as the manual says it should be created with the default 16-note pattern. There is no pattern and thus no footer to access the pattern functions

Sorry if this is fixed in 11, I haven't been able to justify spending the money to upgrade yet as I'm only just starting to write music again after a long break haha

This has been fixed in W11. Which version of W10 are you using? The latest beta is 10.4.7, I don't know if the fix was applied to that version but it might be worth a try if you are on an earlier version.

Thanks, I was still on 10.4.2 and assumed I was up to date as I forgot about the betas .

Unfortunately the bug is still present although looks like there are a few other things tidied up going by the release notes
