But is your opinion based off of using it on the clean mode (silver screen)?

Valhalla verbs are pretty special. Room is super clean, and VV is super dirty. They're kind of hardcore one direction verbs, which could do what they do more subtle in my eyes (to put it differently than to say they are simply exaggerated sounding).
To each his own. Just like Martin, I sold both. They don't do it for me. The Exponential verbs are truly different animals.

In 'Now' mode VVV is rather clean. The subtleties aren't going to be heard outside of quiet passages and only cared by the engineer. Either way I also mentioned owning other reverbs...
Not sure R4 does it for me, in light of this.

Well it is a Vintage 'Verb. But it is odd he pointed to one and not the others. I think he just wanted to stomp on one persons PoV to raise their own above it. There's really no discussion there. Especially when they wouldn't even explain how they came to their conclusions (what mode of VVV were they using).Calenberger wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 6:24 pmNot a real sh*t storm, isn't it.VitaminD wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 6:01 pmDuly noted.martinjuenke wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 5:50 pmObviouslyVitaminD wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 5:48 pmThat doesn't answer the question. Not much there and frankly I'm not in the mood to debate subjectivity.

Not arguing at all. And frankly I'm sick of it. Not just here but in general. It's just a bunch of defending personal choices. There really isn't much dialog beyond that these days. All conflict, no agreements, no agreements to disagree even.Calenberger wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 6:35 pmSeems that you're arguing from a state of confusion.VitaminD wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 6:33 pmWell it is a Vintage 'Verb. Turn on the news and its conflict, go online and it's conflict. Everyone wants a debate not a discussion. I'm so sick of everything.

How can one qualify for such a top label?
And who chooses it?

There are many conflict and frustrated people and always have been. You are able to be different just don't give up. We need every single person being patient and open minded
