After runnung crap cleaner and a win 10 update , I get this u-he error .

I have un-installed avast anti-virus and the problem has vanished
That (free ) antivirus caused to many problems too begin with , not eve sure if it should be called antivirus

Quite a lot of recent antivirus software stick a write-permissions block on external applications that write to the user documents folder - The logic being to block any ransomware that tries to encrypt users' documents. Had a similar issue with Eventide's installers whilst running Bitdefender as they write to that folder for the plugin presets.
