Probably best to contact IK customer service directly with the eligibility question. Going from SE to a higher version of ST4 would actually be an upgrade, rather than a crossgrade. A crossgrade would be to another product line like MODO or something else.
The crossgrade qualification limit may not apply. It wouldn't hurt to ask...

Crossgrade eligibility is based on full price, not promotional pricing. Same with how earned JamPoints are calculated.

Peter, is UPGRADE eligibility based on the sales price of the base product one wishes to upgrade from??Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2020 3:08 pm Crossgrade eligibility is based on full price, not promotional pricing. Same with how earned JamPoints are calculated.

Any upgrade would require the qualifying product specifically and wouldn't matter if you bought it on sale or not. If you have an upgrade option it will show at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/eligibility/zzz00m wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2020 5:42 pmPeter, is UPGRADE eligibility based on the sales price of the base product one wishes to upgrade from??Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2020 3:08 pm Crossgrade eligibility is based on full price, not promotional pricing. See the answer from IK Peter on page 140 of this thread. The price you pay, even on sale, for the base product does not matter if you are upgrading.mfny wrote: Sat Jul 04, 2020 5:30 am Would an upgrade to ST4 Standard or MAX work at a later date if purchasing SE at the current sale price of £47.99 (or less with Points), i.e does it count as a product over £99 to qualify for the upgrade pricing for Standard or MAX even if i am only paying the sale price ?
So, the minimum price limit only applies to cross-grading to a different IK product.

If anyone was concerned at all on the SampleTank 4 price, there is a pretty nice deal going on. The best kind too, a group buy!
Read more here.
For anyone wanting to discuss, there's a thread here (so I don't side-track this one): viewtopic.php?f=43&t=550483&p=7857282#p7857282
There is also a really great video with Jonah Wei-Haas showing off the new EDM pack which is included as an option in the deal.

I just tried to reinstall ST4 CS from the latest version of the IK Product Manager and it's already authorized etc., but it fails with an error each time. I also tried running the Product Manager as Admin on my Windows 10 PC.
The same thing just happened with MODO Bass.
EDIT: I found my backup of MODO Bass and that install worked, but I don't have the ST4 CS install file backed up.

I just looked and some of my products still have individual downloads and some require the "Product Manager"
Is that something new and does it replace the old license manager ?
Done well product managers can be very helpful but the key words there are done well.

Yes that's what I was thinking. I'm not messing with it unless I really have to. I don't use ST3 or Syntronik much anymore but I do use my TRacks plugins on a daily basis.
Not worth screwing them up with an untested new Product Manager.

I was able to reinstall ST4 CS from the main page where it is located (versus the Product Manager) and that worked. Has anyone else tried it yet?
I sent in a support ticket on the IK site about this.

IK's support wrote back to me (that was quick!) with a temporary workaround and said they are looking into a more permanent fix for it. Long story short, now it works.

I installed and tried the new Product Manager, it said I had 2 products that had updates, which was true, told it to go ahead and update, which it did, all good, both updated without issue, and show the correct versions in use.
