exporting in T7

I have both T4 and T7, and have never had trouble exporting completed tune T4, I tried the same in T7, it shows it is exporting, yet I cant find it after closing the program. what am I doing wrong?

It would be helpful to have more information, like a screen capture that shows the export dialog settings and a list of the plugins you're using. Without that kind of information (and more) it's very difficult to help.

I vaguely recall issues with export discussed in this forum. You might try to search to see if your problem surfaced already back when T7 was the current version. For example viewtopic.php?t=512807

No, I actually found a work around- send the path to the desktop, where it says songtitle edit 1 export3.mp1, then I can work with it. I emailed Tracktion themselves but have yet to hear back. On the others, before resetting path, it would say export complete. I would then close tracktion, but couldn't find it afterwords. This setting the path different seems to work.

always look at the target directory info.
I found T7 can mess it up after you print a particular track i.e. manual freezing of 1 track to a new audio track with all plugins printed into it. it goes to the "rendered" directory.
subsequent exports of the mix might go there also.
