Feature request: copy and paste a step clip channel section steps

Is it possible to copy the steps that are entered in a section's channel in a step clip and then paste them into another section?

Not that I know of. Work arounds:
1) 3x mouse click1
2) Make a second step clip and play them together. you can overlap step clips, copy & paste them individually
3) Merge two tracks containing different step clips into a single vst.
4) Transform step clips to midi clips and copy and paste notes.
