Thank you very muchFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Here's a link to the 3 .png files you'd need to add the dark wood panels.
To install:
1. You must have already installed the skins on the first post of this thread - at least the "Black and Slim" skin
2. Extract the 3 .png files in this zip folder into your Repro-1.data\Support\Themes\Black and Slim\Images\Panes folder
3. You should be asked to overwrite the original files, hit yes

I still may eventually replace the original with this one, but for now you guys can decide on a favorite.

Pheeleep, I was already considering it. Now that I know how to get there (and saved presets), it would probably take all of an hour to update the black skins (I say that now, but watch it take five times that) but I don't want to make the change unless people generally like it because I don't want to maintain so many different versions.
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do this where I'm not having to maintain all these different variants of different skins. Going forward, I'm currently leaning towards black skin only (ditch the Gray) and dark wood but want to get more opinions from others. It would be easier for someone who wanted the original wood panels to edit the skins to get them back, which is why I'm leaning towards making the black+dark wood standard.

Gotcha. I won't be using the gray myself but perhaps other folks use the gray... Let's see what happensFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Pheeleep, I was already considering it. PS: Pretty cool that you can adjust the brightness of the GUI in the Repro preferences. I hadn't noticed that at first.

This started out as making darker panels for my original skins. Then I got carried away and made a skin that's actually way more black than the prior versions.
I really gotta stop screwing around with these skins...

I did a Prophet-5 modification of Funkybot's skin. I matched the original Prophet-5 font and nameplate shape, the panel fonts and made the wood a little less red. If anyone is interested I will try to add this to u-He's skin page. This image is shown with Gamma set to Dark.

I haven’t looked into doing the Repro-1 yet, but I’ll look and see if it makes sense.zvenx wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:54 pm Looks good to me..
There isn't a Repro-1 version as well is there?

Wondering why nobody seems to have gone really off-piste with skinning Repro, like with Diva or Plugmon's Zebra reimagining. Is Repro less skinnable? Or is it that for a classic synth, anything other than subtle colour changes would be kinda sacrilegious?

Thanks. I realized I need to fix the effects view. Trickier because of the shadow on the text. Will post once I fix that.
