It’s good to be on the lookout for scams, but the moral culpability for the scam still lies with the person running it. No amount of “in an ideal world” really changes thatmonomox wrote: Tue Aug 18, 2020 1:51 amThat may be true in an ideal world, but in this one you have to tie your camelzacha wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2020 11:39 pm On the contrary: it lies with the merchant not to charge you for things you haven’t explicitly asked for. There are sites which will pay you (a few dollars worth in gift cards or temporary Visa cards) to do free trials. I did that with Pandora and Tidal last year. Or for doing an X-month subscription for Y dollars they'll pay you a few dollars more than Y. I think I did about 20 of those last year and never forgot to cancel. Including a SiriusXM one that paid a net of at least $20 iirc.zacha wrote: Tue Aug 18, 2020 2:40 amIt’s good to be on the lookout for scams, but the moral culpability for the scam still lies with the person running it. Glad to hear, reasons are mostly in the dark.eungang wrote: Thu Aug 06, 2020 7:27 amI was able to get this deal here in South Korea. I read somewhere that some shops haven't been charging tax (VAT?) correctly to certain European countries, so iZotope has temporarily blocked the sale of said products through said shops until the issue is fixed.Omkar wrote: Thu Aug 06, 2020 7:02 amGrabbed it few days back, seems to be for US market only.fgimian wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2020 10:44 pm AudioDeluxe has Exponential Audio Excalibur for $10 for those who may have missed it last time.

Had to switch to my US adress when trying the German one.
Sometimes an offer targets US only, sometimes it`s a tax issue.
It was a good deal anyway & we both got it, so all fine ...

I wish someone ONCE made a meter, which REALLY inculeded all the basic meterings.everyPlugin.com wrote: Tue Aug 18, 2020 8:39 am Mastering the Mix "LEVELS"
Now 30% off until Aug 24th. That's $45 out of $60.
It's their debut product from 2016, allowing easily monitoring of mixing and
metering and optimizing them for distributions on CD, online streaming etc.
The LU meter is always missing - i.e. these multi-meters are not really complete, but you have to use at least one separate metering plugin. What a drag!
