What's the best reverb to use when the actually best reverb won't install correctly on your system?
What's the best reverb to use when you've removed the first reverb with an ambience removal plugin but then change your mind and decide that you really like the original reverb but don't want it to sound like you put two reverbs on things (one partially removed)?

A well-behaved signature.

Yes, because it is so incredibly difficult to simply avoid those threads one has no interest in, right?trusampler wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 10:59 am These what are the best threads should be banned here at KVR,they serve no f-*king purpose.
What else do you want to tell us about yourself?

Impossible to think that these producers might truly be enthusiasts like we are.chk071 wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:43 pmIf that would happen with any other company, it'd be paid endorsement.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:41 pmThe Lana del Ray article mentions Valhalla about 3741 times on the first page.revvy wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:16 am In fairness to mabian I too clicked on the SOS articles and searched and couldn't fond Valhalla on the first ones I clicked on, it was the hidden 'Page 2' feature I missed each time.![]()

Compared to the first hardware digital reverbs, Valhalla is vastly superior. Don't know why some nobodies are dissing it.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:55 pmImpossible to think that these producers might truly be enthusiasts like we are.chk071 wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:43 pmIf that would happen with any other company, it'd be paid endorsement.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:41 pmThe Lana del Ray article mentions Valhalla about 3741 times on the first page.revvy wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:16 am In fairness to mabian I too clicked on the SOS articles and searched and couldn't fond Valhalla on the first ones I clicked on, it was the hidden 'Page 2' feature I missed each time.![]()

And VVV is emulating exactly that - early digital reverbs.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:55 pmImpossible to think that these producers might truly be enthusiasts like we are.chk071 wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:43 pmIf that would happen with any other company, it'd be paid endorsement.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:41 pmThe Lana del Ray article mentions Valhalla about 3741 times on the first page.revvy wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:16 am In fairness to mabian I too clicked on the SOS articles and searched and couldn't fond Valhalla on the first ones I clicked on, it was the hidden 'Page 2' feature I missed each time.![]()

There is absolutely nothing special about vintageverb. Signaldust Abstract Chamber and Tila2 eats vintageverb for breakfast. #overhyped #fanbois(I kid)
This does give me an idea. What if we could somehow make a fantasy football equivalent with VSTs. I still have to figure out the on-the-field equivalent, but I'm onto something.

So? Doesn't change my post or the spirit of my post or the bullshit other posters reply with.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:41 pmThe Lana del Ray article mentions Valhalla about 3741 times on the first page.revvy wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:16 am In fairness to mabian I too clicked on the SOS articles and searched and couldn't fond Valhalla on the first ones I clicked on, it was the hidden 'Page 2' feature I missed each time.

No, I wasn't saying that. I just meant to say that there can be a very different experience too. Personally I think the LdR stuff tends to sound incredible and I also know that the first quarter of a year or so is subscription only, so I skipped the newer articles and the LdR one was one of the first I looked at.

Ah...
I went off trying to find LDR reverb plugins. Thank you for clearing that up.
I might check out LiquidSonics' offerings - and "Adaptiverb" by Zynaptiq, as it's currently on sale and I keep seeing people mentioning it.
Otherwise, I really like 2CAudio's offerings and their customer service is great.
For plates I really like Soundtoys' "Little Plate".
Then XenoVerb fills in the gaps.
I have a handful of others but those are most noteworthy.
