For a patch I'm making I would need to trigger a regular oscillator with fixed pitch, regardless of the regular input event. For that a parameter event generator would come in handy.
However it doesn't seem to be accepted on a polysynth. I understand that some modules are not accepted on a polysynth, but I don't see a reason why a parameter event generator is not accepted.
Why can't I add a "parameter event generator" to a polysynth?

You can set an oscillator's key follow to zero:
In the oscillator editor click the main options button at the top and choose "Properties".
There you can set the Key Follow to 0.
