Hello everyone !
I’m using Fl Studio 20.5 and I’ve recently bought Hellrazer and was excited to try it out but after a day or two, I’ve noticed that I couldn’t do the pinch Harmonics or the Pop strings because it require the velocity note to be at 127 and you can’t have that in Fl studio since the maximum is a 100%.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to correct that without, you know, sampling with the ample rifter/tab.
That’s all for me !
I really hope someone will be able to help me ^^ ! Also sorry for the bad English !

The velocity 127 in other DAWs just is 100 in FL.

Vel = FLvel * 127 / 100

Well here's the proof, noting that i didn't touch the velocity at all.

Nah, even with this, it's just plays an harmonic

Any progress with this? same thing is happening to me. No way of playing pinch harmonics in FL studio outside of using the riffer, and the pinch is immediately lost when transferring to the piano roll

Sorry it seems FL doesn't support velocity 127. we can not do something on it. Please contact FL for the issue, MIDI velocity should be a very basic feature in all of DAWs.

In fairness FL studio does support velocity, it's just on a scale from 1-100 rather than 1-127. Surely given that FL studio is one of the most popular DAW's in the world you should consider having an option to work around this, like being able to manually trigger these harmonics or by being able to customise the velocity at which they play.

If FL can exports vel 127, Ample Guitar Pinch could be triggered, it is a simple condition.
We will do some test, let's see what happened in the MIDI signal FL exports.

As a Cubase user I can get pinch harmonics just fine with velocity 127 but somehow it also adds vibrato, which makes this a rather useless option to me.
I have to admit that, being in the middle of a project, I have not updated to 3.1 yet. So perhaps this strange behavior has already been addressed?

Hi Mountainmaster, only AMH pinch harmonics were played with vibrato. we thought it is an attempt.

Thank you, I'd be interested in hearing the results

FYI when I export a pinch harmonic from the riffer into FL studio's piano roll the Velocity is set to maximum but doesn't play the pinch harmonic.

Hey Siegfried, I managed to get this working by using the VST2 version of the plugin, rather than the VST3 version, if you've installed it just make sure that FL Studio isn't combining the plugins (as that makes it use the VST3 plugin) rescan your plugins and untick the option to combine plugins.

Ample sound - the issue exists in the VST3 version but not VST2, if that gives you something to look at, however we can now be sure it's not FL Studio not hitting the right velocity or anything like that.
