In the long-term. After the bugs are ironed out, I'd consider the Hybrid to just be the Waveform engine. Then allow people to opt into the Real-Time option, knowing the price they'll pay (CPU).
If I add it to a track and set the outputs to something I can hear them outside of Waveform.

Yes, it's looking like "Hybrid" will become the new default and the "Real-time" will be a specific option.
I'm using the Insert to route audio out my interface (stereo pair) through an Erica Synths Acidbox 3, and audio back into the interface (stereo pair). However, when I inserted any insert, empty or with things selected, I no longer had any out out anymore on any track.
I also have an insert routing audio out my interface (mono) and nothing coming back in (because it's converted externally to MIDI).
