Jules is still around here still helping people with problems, it's bugging me that people keep saying he doesn't call by anymore.

For example:

Give the guy a break  he's a busy bunny and it's all for us  .

Let the games commence ..... :)

EDIT: [/fanboy] I should add that the first note bug annoys the hell out of me too.

Jalapeno,

I agree.

It's one guy only. If he's to have any kind of life besides as a code dude, cut him some slack.

Actually, what is frustrating is that Mackie hasn't offered up some folks to help him code. (at least not that we know about so it seems)

Let Jules design the code and guide 3 or 4 assistants who hammer out the line by line stuff.

Let's face it - the UI design of Tracktion is by far it's most superior feature over lesser or greater priced sequencers. to me, it seems to be the most intelligent way to lay out a signal flow chain on the screen, in a way that musicians can understand. No window mining necessary. It's one of those things that you look at and once you use it, you wonder why it took so long for somebody to come along and put it in place. We can thank Jules for that and all the other cool little things that Tracktion does. But to have him take care of design, development, bug correction, etc., seems a little much.

Note to Mackie - should Tracktion really be a one-man show? Will price be severely negatively impacted if Jules gets some help in the mundane coding aspect of the programming?

Jules might not want anyone else to help him. It might be that it's more trouble for him to tell someone what to do than to just do it himself. :?:

Is anybody really trying to rush Jules? I hope not. All I see is people concerned that there hasnt been any new info for a very long time.

PS: Jules is a superstar in the sequencer world. If I ever meet him I'm gonna get his autograph. :D

It'll be next year, I have to save for tickets, hotel, entertainment, and someone to fish-sit for me (I have expensive tropical fish, 5 tanks worth).

Maybe I'll just pass, it's going to cost me US$5000 just to get there and back!

Wow Jules even has an agent now?? .

I wish I could go to London. It seems like a very layed back and interesting place. I missed Tracktionfest 1.0. By the time I meet that guy he'll be a millionaire and I'll have to make an appointment to talk to his Beefeaters at the gate.

For god's sake philip, Mackie will have a thing or two to say about you revealing T2 secrets before the official announcement.
