Hi... have a quick question
When I try to do a copy drag... to make a cloned/link copy of a midi clip or audio sequence I can't do it. This is while not using a mouse only the trackpad on my macbook 2019.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thx

Should just be: Cmd, Click/hold the part, move the pointer with the trackpad, Drop. If you've not switched the config. Or if I've not switched the config.

Ok thanks, I'm gonna try it again... when I tried moving the pointer another window menu would open and I couldn't move anything.pljones wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 5:58 pm Should just be: Cmd, Click/hold the part, move the pointer with the trackpad, Drop. figured out what it is... slightly subtle... I have to click on the part and hold down the trackpad first (helps to move it around first, with second finger) then click and hold the cmd key and then it will copy. I had been clicking the command key first and then selecting the midi clip using the track padbbreakz wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 6:28 pmOk thanks, I'm gonna try it again... when I tried moving the pointer another window menu would open and I couldn't move anything.pljones wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 5:58 pm Should just be: Cmd, Click/hold the part, move the pointer with the trackpad, Drop. That'd definitely confuse me coming from a world where it works the other way - set up the modifiers, then apply the action; rather than half start the action, mix in some modifiers, complete the action.

I'm sorry but i missed this topic some way. It indeed does not work as intended and will be fixed in the next update.
