next update is here

. 14.08 is an important update which comes up with several improvements, new features and fixes. It is recommended to install this update. To do that, get the newest version from MeldaProduction download page and use it.

- Improved MSpectralDynamics processing algorithm for more accurate and faster response.
Does it break our current projects settings?

Hi, after the upgrade of MSF & MDrummer I see under "Download & Install Instruments" the same sample packs as I have already installed with version 14.06 or something. Does it mean that the libaries have changed and I need to install 23 GB of samples again? Or do the VSTs do not see the installed packages anymore?

Also the download speed from inside MSF is sooo low. Is there a way to get Essentials for MSF from another source?

The downloader doesn't know it has been installed, so no, you do not need to do that. But you do need to redownload the MSFEssentials if you are using MSoundFactory, since that has been changed indeed.

Jopmanajop: What speeds are you getting? It's going from a cloud storage with servers allover the world. Here I get over 20MB/s (since that's my maximum

). Also what is you physical location?
Also note that the downloader is actually checking each megabyte, since it turns out that downloading from web browsers (all of them), can end up with incorrectly downloaded stuff... no idea how that is possible...

Usually i have a good speed (don't know how much), but i tried to download Essentials and it stucked at 4 MB of downloaded content after 3 minutes. I'm in Russia and downloading installers from the site with no problem, so maybe i'll try later

The download speed from inside MSF is unacceptably slow here as well - 0.30 MB/s . I have a verified 50MB/s connection. At that rate, it will take around 2.5 hours - unacceptable in 2020 . This is from Australia. We really do need an alternative direct link to download this from.

I have a download manager that let me download MonasteryGrand 3.5 gig in around 15 minutes without any errors (resultant file MD5 check passed and installed correctly in MSF).

Thanks for the update.

I installed the MSF Essentials to the wrong drive (it defaulted back to C:\). How do I uninstall it and re-install it to the correct drive? I deleted the data on C:\ and reinstalled MSF from scratch but it still thinks Essentials is installed?

Downloader speeds: Ok, so it's possible that the cloud was still caching the data, since I purged everything shortly after the release, just to make sure everything is up to date. So please try again now. If the speed are still so low, please let me know via info@meldaproduction.com, tell me the speed it says, and try using your webbrowser directly from the website (default cloud mirror). Perhaps it's something with the downloader, no idea what though, perhaps a firewall...

SeeingInMIDI: I'm afraid not, that one is way more complicated. Not sure about solution yet...
