Assuming you want more feedback.
I still think the space at the top of the modules even though increased should be increased some more.
so it matches the space below it, as the u-he skins.
Btw: I did prefer it without the XY modification. Sorry for wasting your time on that one.

Found something else, but it was fine in 0.90
Open (And Close) Editor label for OSC is gone.
Btw the hilited HZ in the logo now is subtle but beautiful. Thank you.

What's interesting is that the default ZHZ skin (which mine is based on) actually has the smaller space above it too. See below. Mine should be the same --though maybe a bit smaller -- but with the less contrasty background colors it looks like much less. Unfortunately moving that around may be challenging due to the way the panes work, but I'll see what I can do. I have an idea
Thanks on the edit button. Its fixed now (will upload in a bit). I thought I was fixing a typo, but apparently I created an issue instead.

Maybe it is just an optical illusion, as we would say here in the Caribbean "Don't bother fight up yourself with it"
Indeed the factory HZ has a smaller space on top too.

Ok, one last version for today (0.92) that fixes the missing edit button and also makes some adjustments to the rack shadows to make them less prominent and "flatter". Probably the last version I'll upload for a few days unless workflow impediments are discovered. For cosmetic issues I'll plan to fix those in the next and hopefully final version.

Hi All,
I have spent many days working on a new free skin for Zebra2 and ZebraHZ, and am within a few days of it being final. Given how insanely complex Zebra is, I am hoping I can find a few volunteers to help me test it and make any usability/style suggestions.
I created this skin because I wanted something cleaner and more modern, with many fewer colors as well as a cooler color palette. I took as inspiration Phase Plant as well as Massive X's dark theme. Except for a few specialized sections like the XY pads and EQs, I have been aiming to limit the entire interface to 5 colors (dark gray, middle gray, light gray, middle blue and bright blue). Below are screenshots of the current test version:
Please report any bugs or suggestions to me via PM or in this thread, and I will try to incorporate into a final version soon.
Thanks!

Nice job. Great theme.
I like the multicolored version with the PhasePlant buttons the most. Hoewever the line on the Phaseplant button is very thin and a bit hard to see for me. Is it possible to make this a tiny bit thicker (but not as thick as the MassiveX/flat one?
Is it possible to flatten the EQ points?
As for the XY pad colors, maybe make the fourth purple so it's really colored? No big deal if it can't be.
Oh and it would be handy if you put the default unicolor pad also in the modifications folder so I can easily switch back.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Thanks resistent! I assume you are talking about the gap in the white line on the left? I actually did that intentionally to try and break up the two sections. I considered making the line connect, but it looked a little weird also because it doesn’t extend all the way to the top given the grid. Happy to take suggestions however!

I actually put the left color sidebar on all the modules, not only the white one. It was my approach to making a subtle indication of color to the sections without being overpowering. I’ll agree that on the middle panel making it on both sides would be better, but then that would be inconsistent with the overall approach on the other modules (and I think putting the sidebars on both the left and right of all modules wouldn’t work well).resistent wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 11:29 am Sure. That makes sense. But than I would also put a white line on the right. Would look more coherent.
The best may be to just completely remove the white sidebars on the middle panels. They arguably aren’t really modules, and I’m not sure they really add much to the UI.

Thanks resistant. I’ll get risk of the white lines and fix the arp step.
It’s actually a bit of a pain in the rear to do the color changes and involves a lot of fiddling. You should be able to change everything you need in the script located in the scripts folder, but there are thousands of sections and a whole bunch of them relate to the MSEGS and Arp. Basically you would need to change all of the various references to Yellow in those sections to Blue (ie “Bright Yellow” to “Bright Blue”) and then the references to the various graphics from “Yel” to “Blu”.
Honestly, it’s probably a change I can make in about 20 minutes because I’ve gotten familiar enough with the sections, and could include in a modification in the next version. But feel free to give it a shot and let me know if you get stuck.
