I dont even bother installing the ones I actually paid for anymore, they are nothing special and something is always changing about how you actually download them.jens wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 6:05 am f**king weird - three e-mails (plus a convoluted ordering process) for a demo...
I bet he sells truck-loads of his plugins...

Note: Don't think it's ever been this low priced before.

Well, I did the research, slept on it, decided it was worth it to me at this price and...
voucher no longer works. Sale's over
36 hours is a bit high-pressure to make a decision for those of us who have day jobs.

Nope, they lose - we all have far more than enough tools anyway...
I was about to jump aboard, but am glad the sale is already over. I think it's a very good comp,
but then again I literally already have several dozens of good compressor plugins so I don't think it's really my loss. And there's no way I'd ever spend more than this sales price on it.
Right now PA is running a promo where they gave out two vouchers shortly one after the other with which you can purchase almost any of their plugins for 30$.. I didn't use one of them yet - and e.g. the Vertigo comp I have been lusting over for a while (and PA don't make you jump through hoops) - but then again: I already have so many comps...

Oh, and btw.: those salesmen who try to push you to a quick decision usually do so because they want to pressure you into going for something of which they think you would not go for with enough time to consider all important factors earnestly - i.e. to me in this case here it means they likely do not really believe in the outstanding quality of their plugins themselves, hence they use these kinds of sale tactics in order to generate more sales. Why not otherwise give the potential customer more time for evaluation?
That may of course perhaps not really be true, but that's basically the impression they give. "Quick quick - buy now before it's too late - that's your last chance!" KInda shady really, if you think about it.

Me too. Was trying to decide whether I needed another comp so took a chance about 30 mins before the sale wrapped up. Glad I did, it sounds great! Picked up Synth Warmer, too. Great deal! Thanks, Kazrog!

No, not at all - just replying to the imo super-silly "your loss"...

Can those who have True Dynamics characterize what they think the 2 compressors' relative strengths/weaknesses are? I got the bundle and now I need an excuse to use it.
A well-behaved signature.

The LA1B adds a very desirable (maybe punch is the right word?)... transient... to synths, haven't had the chance to run much else though it yet... the other model, what is it - Presto 41A, i didn't have an instant affinity with it, it's kind of round and furry compared to the LA1B, which i can tell is going to be on high rotation in the next few mixes that's for sure. My opinion might change though - when i start running drums and bass through it. Who knows.
I wanna say a HUGE thank you to Shane at Kazrog who answered my dynamic prayers with this sale. What a legend.
Also, I should add, the CPU hit is so low on my 2012 macbook, the potential for abuse is very exciting
